JU Philosophy Dept. appears winner at Inter-Department Basketball Championship

The department of philosophy of Jahangirnagar University (JU) emerged victorious in the Inter-Department Basketball Championship defeating the Finance and Banking Department on Wednesday.
Immediately after the match, a prize giving ceremony was held. JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan attended as the chief guest, while Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Professor Dr. Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman was the special guest.
In his address, JU Vice- Chancellor praised the players for their dedication and sportsmanship.
“This championship upholds not only athletic talent but also the spirit of camaraderie and teamwork among our students,” he said.
He also emphasized the importance of such events in nourishing unity and healthy competition within the university community.
