A discussion meeting was held for journalists with the leaders of the newly elected committee of the Marma Cultural Society (MASS).

On Wednesday at 3 pm, at a press conference organized by the Marma Cultural Society (MASS) at the conference room of the Chamber of Commerce, President of the Marma Cultural Society (MASS) Thoaisuikhoi Marma, General Secretary Usanu Marma, Menupru Marma, Vice President Mong Shiwu Marma, Vice President Muithuiong Marma, Vice President Apai Marma And Marma public representatives from various upazilas and various print media, electronic media journalists were present.

This organization named "Marma Cultural Organization" (MASS) was formed on July 21, 2000 year in the presence of representatives from various upazilas with the aim of socio-economic development, unity, education, peace, culture, and preservation of heritage.

The organization is a non-political organization. It is made up of Marma people's representatives of different views. Therefore, although the organization was run with consensus for the first 5/6 years, in the subsequent 16/17 years, the allies of the Awami fascist government have been running the organization in a fascist style for a long 15 years without any documents.

For example, there is no audit of the donations from various government and private individuals and the monthly subscriptions of the members. When the fascist Awami government fell in the student-people's movement on August 5, 2024, their leaders also went into hiding due to their involvement in various cases. Due to which the Marma Cultural Organization (MASS) office is locked and abandoned. Since the office of the organization is the property of the Marma community MASS. In view of the upcoming Sangrai / 2025 celebration, a discussion meeting was held on 29/09/2024 at the invitation of the organization's advisor Chaithuaipru Rowaja (Majnu) with the participation of various upazila Marma public representatives. In the meeting, the previous committee was declared dissolved and a convening committee was formed for a period of three months.

Later, on 09/10/2024, a full committee was formed through a decision taken at the meeting on the initiative of the convening committee.The President and General Secretary of the Full Committee applied for pre-registration in the name of the organization to the Deputy Director, Department of Social Services, Rangamati on 19/11/2024 to operate in accordance with the government's policies, and a clearance certificate (pre-registration) was obtained on 07/01/2025.

The organization will form committees based on various upazilas and unions as per its constitution. For this, the government and various government service institutions are requested to cooperate and this organization will be able to play a role in various government activities, especially in the development of the Chittagong Hill Tracts, maintaining peace, order and community harmony.
