
Joint forces recover large quantity of indigenous weapons in Chandpur

A total of 30 indigenous weapons have been recovered in a joint forces operation in Chandpur.
These weapons were recovered from the Dakatia River ghat next to the city's Notun Bazar Central Food Storage at around 1 am on Monday.
Lieutenant Jabid Hasan, Operational Officer of the Army Camp in Chandpur, confirmed this on Tuesday morning.
He said that the operation was conducted based on secret information. At that time, these weapons in plastic bags were seized. These seized indigenous weapons have been handed over to the Sadar Model Police Station for legal action.
He also said that since September 4 last year, all armed terrorists, drug dealers and weapons recovery activities have been ongoing in Chandpur district under the leadership of the joint forces. Many drug dealers listed in the district have already been arrested.
