Jamalpur train collided with truck, 4 injured

Four people were injured when a train collided with a truck loaded with fertilizer in Jamalpur district under Sarishabari upazila. The accident took place in the early morning of January 8 at talokder Bari Mor railway intersection crossing of Sarishabari. Jamalpur-Sarishabari-Bhuyapur line is closed for 5 hours train journey.
It is known that, the Chittagong-bound Nasirabad Express train leaving from Bhuyapur collided with the fertilizer truck coming from Tarakandi while crossing the railway crossing. The truck overturned and four people including the truck driver and helper were injured. The injured have been admitted to Bhuyapur Health Complex.
Station Master of Jamalpur Railway Station Dewan Harun said that the names and identities of the injured are not known.
