Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's central Nayeb Ameer former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Md. Taher said, Jamaat-e-Islami's Rukon should be a model.

The Rokon of the Jamaat is not a title, it is only a ladder of the believers. By climbing this ladder, a true believer will be a Muhsenin and a Mottaki. He said that the Prophet (PBUH) started a movement to enlighten the dark society with five people, that movement developed over time and changed the whole world.

Jamaat started the movement to change the thinking of people of this country long ago. Almighty Allah has created a new opportunity in the movement of Jamaat through revolution on 5th August. If this opportunity can be fully utilized, Jamaat will be the hope of the people and the largest party in the country.

He said this in the speech of the chief guest at a Rukon conference of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Hathazari Upazila on Friday.

Central Shura Member Chattogram Metropolitan Ameer former MP Shahjahan Chowdhury was the main speaker, Central Shura Member and Chittagong North District Jamaat Ameer Ala Uddin Sikdar was the special guest.

Upazila Ameer Engineer Sirajul Islam spoke at the conference chaired by Chattogram North District Jamaat member Prof Dr. Abdul Hamid Chowdhury, Rafiqul Islam, Principal Nurunnabi, Master Nuruchchalam, Engineer Borhan Uddin and Maulana Jamal Hossain.

In the speech of the main speaker at the conference, Central Shura Member Chattogram Metropolitan Amir Shahjahan Chowdhury said, Hathazari Upazila is the Upazila of Alem Olamar. In this important upazila, Jamaat-e-Islami's strong and honest leadership should be highlighted in every town to make the candidate of Jamaat-e-Islami a candidate, regardless of party affiliation, known for his victory. He said, the Bangladesh of the future will be the Bangladesh of Jamaat-e-Islami.

In the conference, the swearing in of the new Amir for the 2025-2026 session of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Hathajari Upazila and the Shura election of the new session was held.
