A 51-member Indian Aggression Prevention Committee has been constituted with Advocate Mezbahuddin Khan as Convener, Abdur Rahim as Joint Convener and Mejba Uddin Chowdhury Morshed and Omar Farooq as joint member secretaries.

A meeting of all party leaders was held at Feni District Lawyer Bhavan last December 9 against Indian aggression, India's threat to merge Chittagong Division with Tripura by occupying Bangladesh's Chicken Neck Feni.

Bhasani Smriti Sangsad Feni President Advocate Gias Uddin Nannu, former president of Feni District Lawyers Association and BNP National Standing Committee Member Adv Mezbahuddin Khan, BNP Feni District Member Secretary Alauddin Alal, Bangladesh Jamate Islam Feni General Secretary Abdur Rahim Feni, district lawyer, Association President Adv Abdus Sattar, Our Party Bangladesh Central Member Engineer Shah Alam, Mawlana Omar Farooq of Hefajat Islam, General Secretary of Islamic Movement Feni Ekramul Haque Bhuiyan, Maulana Azizullah of Khilafat Majlis, Coordinator of Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Mohaiman Tajim, Coordinator Omar Farooq, General Secretary of Feni District Teachers College Teachers Association Morshed Hossain, General Secretary of JSD Feni Adv Shamsuddin Mazumder, BNP Feni district joint convener Yakub Nabi along with the leaders of local political organizations spoke.

The leaders in the meeting expressed their firm determination to build a movement against India's threat to annex Feni by India and connect Chittagong with Tripura.

In the meeting, it was decided to give a memorandum to the Chief Adviser along with the Feni Deputy Commissioner on December 11 and hold a public meeting on December 16.
