Independence Day celebrated at JnU

Jagannath University celebrated the great Independence Day and National Day with dignity. On the occasion of the day, Vice-Chancellor of the University Professor Dr. Md. Imdadul Haque pays floral tribute at the National Memorial on behalf of the university. Earlier in the morning, the national flag was hoisted by playing the national anthem on the university campus.
At this time, the treasurer of the university, Professor Dr. Kamaluddin Ahmed, deans of various faculties, director of the institute, registrar, department chairman, teacher, provost of Begum Fazilatunnessa Mujib Hall, proctor Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kamal, president of the Jagannath University Teachers' Association, Prof. Dr. Md. Ainul Islam, and general secretary, Professor Dr. AKM Lutfar Rahman, and other members, students, officials, journalists, and employees of the university were also present.
Also, on the occasion of the day, freedom and liberation war songs and patriotic songs were broadcast throughout the university campus. A special prayer was organized in the central mosque of the university to pray for the souls of the brave martyrs of the independence war.
