Independence Day celebrated at Bagatipara

On the occasion of the great Independence Day celebrations on March 26 at Bagatipara in Natore, humble tributes were paid by laying wreaths.
58 Natore-1 (Lalpur Bagatipara) Member of Parliament Shahidul Islam Bakul, Upazila Chairman Ahidul Islam Gokul, Upazila Executive Officer Nilufa Sarkar, Officer in-charge of Model Police Station Sirajul Islam laid wreaths at the upazila central Shahid Minar in the first hour of the day.
Upazila Parishad, Bir Mukti Jodhagan, Awami League, Chhatra League, Jatiya Party, Bagatipara Upazila Press Club, Human Rights Commission, various organizations, various educational institutions and people of various professions laid wreaths.
It is to be noted that the ceremony was opened with 31 gunshots and a minute of silence was observed to pray for the souls of all the brave martyrs including Bangabandhu.
A special prayer was held after payinh tributes.
