Imran Khan to contest bypolls to all 33 vacant parliamentary seats
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan has decided to contest by-elections to 33 National Assembly seats in March in all constituencies.
On Sunday, Senior PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi announced, “We have decided to participate in the by-elections and Imran Khan will contest from all seats.” Earlier, on Friday, The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announced that bypolls to 33 NA seats would be held on March 16. The seats fell vacant after NA Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf accepted the resignations of PTI lawmakers.
