The implementation of the Bangladesh-China Friendship Hall construction project for Dhaka University female students at an estimated cost of Tk 244 crore with the financial assistance of the Chinese government is progressing.
The implementation of the Bangladesh-China Friendship Hall construction project for Dhaka University female students at an estimated cost of Tk 244 crore with the financial assistance of the Chinese government is progressing.
An official letter from the Economic Relations Division (ERD) was sent to the relevant authorities of the Chinese government through the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka a few months ago for the implementation of this hall construction project. The Chinese government has already approved this project proposal. Currently, the internal process is ongoing. After this process, a Chinese expert team is expected to come to Dhaka soon for a feasibility study . Incidentally, if this project is implemented, accommodation will be provided for 1,500 female students.
It is mentioned that Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan is in regular contact with the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka to expedite the activities of this project.
