Ignorant behaviour not expected on question of fairness, world peace: Religious Minister

Religious Minister Md. Faridul Haque Khan said that the question of fairness, human rights and world peace is not expected. Such behaviour does not bring good results.
The minister said these in the chief negotiator's speech at the discussion meeting on 'World Peace-Recognition of Palestinian State' at the Kakrail Diploma Engineers Institute auditorium in the capital this morning. Weekly Ganabangla and Bangladesh Independence Parishad organized this event.
The Minister of Religion said that Bangladesh is always playing a role for the rights of the independent Palestinian state and its people. Bangladesh has always stood up for the just demands of the Palestinian people. Bangladesh's position on Palestine-Israel issue is in favor of Palestine, in favor of justice. Bangladesh condemns Israel's illegal occupation of Palestine and has been playing a vocal role in various international forums including the United Nations to stop it.
Highlighting Bangladesh's historical relationship with Palestine, the Minister of Religion also said that since the establishment of Bangladesh, the bilateral relationship between Palestine and Bangladesh is very close and sweet. For this reason, Bangladesh has been expressing continuous support to Palestine and as part of this support, Bangladesh has not recognized Israel in the last 53 years. Bangladesh is the only country in the world that bans Israel from its passport.

Md. Faridul Haque Khan said, after Mecca and Medina, Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem is considered as the third most important holy place in Islam. The relationship of Jerusalem with the emotions of 200 million Muslims in the world. In the same way, the relationship of Jerusalem with the emotions of more than 15 million Muslims in Bangladesh. Muslims must respect this feeling. He urged Israel and its allies to refrain from aggressive thoughts and actions.
