Samatat TV's Iftar party and discussion meeting was held on Tuesday at Rasai Ghar Restaurant, Dharmapur, Comilla city. Editor and CEO of Samatat TV, Belal Hossain Raju, gave a speech as the chief guest, editor Nitish Saha. Besides, Yasmin Reema, President of Comilla District of Bangladesh Journalists Association, Managing Editor of Daily Us Comilla and General Secretary of Cumilla District of Bangladesh Journalists Association Shahzada Emran, Cumilla Representative of Daily Bangladesh Pratidin and Managing Editor of Weekly Amod Patrika Mohiuddin Molla, Cumilla District of Ekushe Television spoke as special guests.

Speakers at the event said that Samatat TV will highlight people's happiness and sorrow, laughter and tears, joy and pain. Besides, it will play a role in society, civilization, politics, economy, culture, history and liberation of people. Apart from this, the speakers also hope that TV will work in removing ignorance and discrimination from the society.
