ICT bans publishing Hasina's hate speech on all media

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has banned broadcasting, publishing, and spreading any hate speech by ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina in all types of mass and social media.
The tribunal also instructed the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) to take immediate action to remove all instances of hate speech associated with the former prime minister.
Three-member tribunal led by its Chairman Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mazumdar issued the order on Thursday.
Earlier in the day, the prosecution filed a petition with the International Criminal Tribunal (ICT) seeking a ban on the dissemination of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s provocative statements through media and social platforms.
Prosecutor Abdullah Al Noman confirmed the matter to the journalists on Thursday.
