Husband, wife arrested with 15-kg ganja in Kamarkhand

Members of the Kamarkhand police station arrested husband and wife at Kamarkhand along with 15 -kg of ganja.
They were arrested from their residence in Karnasuti village of the upazila on Saturday morning.
The arrested are Jewel Rana (35) and his wife Roksana (33) son of Amjad Hossain of the upazila.
According to the police, on the basis of secret information, 15 kg of ganja, 36 thousand 500 taka in cash, two button mobile phones and a motorcycle were recovered from Jewel Rana's house in Karnasuti village of the upazila.
OC Md. Rezaul Islam of Kamarkhand Police Station confirmed the matter to the media and said that the two drug dealers are husband and wife. There are two drug cases and one fight case against them. They have been sent to Sirajganj Jail with a drug case.
