On the occasion of the International Day of Non-Violence, a human chain was held at Laksam in Cumilla.

At the initiative of Peace Facilitator Group (PFG) Laxam Unit, the human chain was formed in front of Laxam Bypass Housing Estate Jame Mosque on Dhaka-Noakhali Regional Highway on Wednesday morning.

Coordinator of Peace Facilitator Group (PFG) Laxam unit, journalist Zafar Ahmed spoke in the human chain, peace ambassador of Peace Facilitator Group (PFG) Laxam unit Nazmun Nahar Nupur, Nur Alam Manik, PFG member and Islamic Front Comilla district president Mir Md. Abu Bakar Siddique, Al Khidmah Hospital Chairman Rafiqul Islam Helal, PFG Member and Laxam Press Club Joint Convener Arifur Rahman Swapan, PFG Youth Group Coordinator Nurunnabi Mohsin, Taslima Akhter, Chhatra Oikya Parishad Ravi Majumdar and others.

The speakers in the human chain said that Bangladesh has been reborn through the movement of students and people. We have to maintain the success of this movement. For that it is necessary to build unity among all. Current government conflict, violence. Strict measures should be taken to stop violence, hatred, terrorism and misogyny. It will be possible to build a Bangladesh of unity,

Bangladesh of harmony, a beautiful Bangladesh through democratic spirit and social harmony. Consequently, all political parties should come forward and work together to reform the country of the interim government. We believe in democracy. As a result, we want to see a democratic Bangladesh. We want to build a non-violent Bangladesh free from conflict and violence.
