Human chain in Faridpur demanding inclusion of Kindergarten students in Govt Primary School Scholarship Exam

A human chain was organized in Faridpur to demand the inclusion of students from private primary schools and kindergartens in the 2025 Government Primary School Scholarship Examination.
The hour-long human chain was held on Wednesday morning around 11 AM in front of the Faridpur Press Club.
During the event, key figures present included Sheikh Saiful Islam Ahid, President of the Faridpur Private School Coordination Council, General Secretary Aparesh Ray Apu, Vice-President Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, Joint Secretaries Md. Nazim Uddin Ahmed Lenin and Md. Anisuzzaman Molla, as well as HM Ibrahim Rajjak, Md. Roknuddin Ruman, Md. Nazrul Islam Saurav, Abu Hanif, Mita Akter, Yarun Nahar Runa, Md. Riyad Hossain, and other teachers from private primary schools and kindergartens in Faridpur.
The speakers highlighted that private kindergartens and equivalent educational institutions are tirelessly contributing to the expansion of education in the country by following the National Textbook Board's curriculum, incorporating local culture and heritage, and shaping the future generation. As a result, these institutions have gained increasing social acceptance over time and have made significant contributions to primary education. They have also achieved commendable success in previous years’ Primary Education Completion Examinations and the 2023 Scholarship Examination.
During the event, they urged the Education Secretary to allow fifth-grade students from private primary schools to participate in the upcoming Government Primary School Scholarship Examination, as was permitted in previous years.
Later, they submitted a memorandum to the Faridpur District Administrator
