Huge human chain demanding nomination of Abdul Alim in Satkhira 2 Seat

A human chain has been formed demanding the cancellation of the nomination of expelled leader Abdur Rouf in Satkhira-2 (Satkhira-Debhata) constituency and the nomination of 7-time chairman Abdul Alim.
On Friday at 10:30 am, ordinary people from all walks of life in the parliamentary constituency Satkhira-2 formed a human chain on the Satkhira-Khulna highway adjacent to Binerpota Fish Market. At this time, the speakers said that the BNP's nominated candidate Abdur Rouf is an expelled leader. He comes from the Jatiya Party. And he does not hold any party position. The leaders and activists are very angry with his nomination. The speakers also said that Chairman Abdul Alim was the accused of crossfire twice during the past fascist Awami League era. For the past 17 years, he stood by the leaders and activists, enduring the oppression and torture of the brutal government.
The leaders and activists strongly demanded the nomination of BNP leader Abdul Alim by canceling the party nomination of the newly nominated BNP Abdur Rouf, the nominated Md. Abdur Rouf has changed parties several times in the past. He joined the Jatiya Party from BNP in 2009 and later returned to BNP. Therefore, they strongly demanded the BNP policy-making leaders to cancel the nomination and nominate Abdul Alim Chairman for the Satkhira 2 constituency. The speakers warned that if Alim Chairman is not nominated, continuous programs will be announced.
