Hour-long meeting between Hasina and Doval at Hindon Air Base

When a plane of Bangladesh Air Force carrying Sheikh Hasina landed at Hindon Air Base in Ghaziabad near Delhi on Monday, she was received by India’s National Security Adviser Ajit Doval. Then Doval held hour-long meeting with Hasina to discuss the situation in Bangladesh and her future course of action.
After the meeting, Doval informed the Cabinet Committee on Security, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, about the developments, ANI reported on Tuesday, quoting sources.
Meanwhile, Indian security agencies were prepared for any contingency as Hasina headed to India for safety in a Bangladesh Air Force transport aircraft.
Indian Air Force radars were actively monitoring the airspace over Bangladesh and detected a low-level flying aircraft heading towards India at around 3 PM.
The aircraft was allowed to enter Indian airspace as the air defence personnel knew who was inside the plane, they said.
In a bid to protect Hasina’s plane, two Rafale fighter aircraft from the Indian Air Force's 101 Squadron at Hashimara Air Base in West Bengal were airborne over Bihar and Jharkhand, according to sources.
A top-level meeting of top security officials was also held with the involvement of intelligence agency chiefs, Gen Dwivedi and Integrated Defence Staff chief Lt Gen Johnson Philip Mathew.
