Home ministry’s senior secretary transferred to science and technology ministry

Md Mokabbir Hossain, a senior secretary of the Public Security Division under the Ministry of Home Affairs, was transferred to the Ministry of Science and Technology just three days after his appointment.
A circular signed by Ziauddin Ahmed, deputy secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, was issued on Saturday.
Mokabbir Hossain's promotion followed the forced retirement of Md Jahangir Alam, secretary of the division, on 14 August.
At the same time, the secretary of the directorate of secondary and higher education of the Ministry of Education Soleiman Khan has also been transferred.
