The body of the glass carpenter Hriday (27), who was killed in the anti-discrimination student movement in Siddhirganj police station area of Narayanganj district, has been exhumed from the grave for post-mortem three months after burial.
On Sunday (October 20) In the presence of Executive Magistrate of Narayanganj Monabbar Hossain, the body was exhumed from Mijmiji Painadi Central Cemetery and sent to Narayanganj Victoria Hospital. A team of Siddhirganj police station was present at this time.

In the case of Hriday's death, on August 12, his mother Moosa: Rita filed a murder case at Siddhirganj police station, mentioning the names of 10 people. of which No.—(12) 12/08/24. Taking the case into consideration, the court ordered the exhumation of the body from the grave.
The deceased Hriday is the son of Tafes Ali and Mosa: Rita of Durgapur village of Dharmapasha upazila of Sunamganj. Along with his family, he used to live in Jahoor's house at No. 2 lane of Ati Housing in Siddhirganj and worked in a Thai glass shop in Hirajhil.
According to the source of the case, Hriday was shot dead by Awami League activists in front of Bhumipalli under Siddhirganj Thana on his way home from work during the anti-discrimination student movement on July 20.
Female garment worker burnt in Siddhirganj gas explosion
Kavita Begum (45), a female garment worker, was burnt in a gas explosion in a house in Siddhirganj of Narayanganj district. The burnt female worker has been admitted to the Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute in the capital. Sunday.
The incident took place on the second floor of Rashed Mahajan's house, adjacent to Hridamoni Creative School, in the Nayapara area of Dakshin Kadmatoli, around six in the morning.

Locals said Kavita Begum, a resident of Kishoreganj's Katiadi area, and her son worked in a garment factory at Adamji EPZ in Siddhirganj. Kavita Begum's husband and daughter live in the village house. For the past one month, mother and son have been living on rent in a two-room flat on the top floor of Rashed Mahajan's two-storey house in Nayapara area of South Kadamtali. Son's night duty was on Saturday (October 19) night and mother Kavita Begum's duty was on Sunday (October 20) morning.
Locals believe that the stove key was left on in their kitchen on Saturday night. It spreads gas in the house. On Sunday (October 20) at six o'clock in the morning, Kavitha Begum lit the fire in the stove to cook, when there was a loud explosion and the house caught fire. Kavita Begum was burnt.
Later on her screams, the local people including the residents of the neighboring flats came and put out the fire and rescued the burnt Kavita Begum and took her to the hospital. In the explosion, all the walls and doors and windows of the two rooms of the flat collapsed. All the furniture in the house is destroyed.
Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burns and Plastic Surgery resident doctor Tariqul Islam said that 40 percent of Kavita Begum's body was burnt in the fire. He is being treated.
A team including Senior Station Officer Miron of Adamji Fire Station of Fire Service visited the spot at 1 pm on receiving the news of the explosion. Later, this fire service official told reporters that the explosion may have been caused by gas accumulated in the house. However, this will be investigated.
