Hajj is one of the pillars and basic worship of Islam. Hajj is obligatory on every well-to-do Muslim man and woman with knowledge. Hajj is of utmost importance in establishing spiritual progress, social harmony and world brotherhood. The role of Hajj is also very important in building the unity of the Muslim world. Correct guidance on the dos and don'ts of the Muslim world can also be obtained from the World Hajj Conference. Hajj is not only a form of worship, but an undeniable method of spiritual purification.

The literal meaning of the word Hajj is: "desire" or "resolution" to participate in a journey, to intend, to visit, to intend, to travel, to wish, to vow, to desire any noble deedThe literal meaning of Hajj is: standing in Ihram on a certain day with the intention of standing in Arafat Maidan and performing Tawaf of Baitullah Sharif. Again someone says: Hajj is to perform Tawaf of Kaaba House on the 9th of Zil Hajj and perform Ihram on the ground of Arafat and performing certain acts properly prescribed in some specific places. Hajj or Hajj or Hajj Arabic: Hajj is a basic worship for the followers of Islam ie Muslims. It is a special pillar of the pillars of Islam. As mentioned in the hadith: It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Umar Razi: He said; The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Islam is founded on five things. These are:1. There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is his servant and messenger. 2. Establish prayer. 3. giving zakat 4. perform Hajj 5. Fasting in the month of Ramadan.

According to the history of Hajj, it is known that Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) on the command of Allah, about four and a half thousand years agoThe first to introduce Hajj. Before the introduction of Hajj, Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) rebuilt the Kaaba with his son Ismail (A.S.) on the instructions of Allah. It is to be noted that Hazrat Adam (A.S.) first built the Kaaba with the help of angels. With the help of Hazrat Ibrahim Jibraeel (A.S.) in the same foundation i.e. Hazrat Adam (A.S.)He rebuilt it on the site of Kaaba built by him. When the construction work was completed, Ibrahim (a.s.) was instructed to perform Hajj. Allah informed him about all the rules of Hajj through Hazrat Jibraeel (A.S.). Ibrahim (a.) With his son Ishmael (a.s.) he circumambulated the Kaaba seven times, kissed Hajre Aswad and performed all the ahkams of Hajj one by one. Then came the order of Allah to convey the invitation of Hajj to the people of the world.

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (RANarrated from, 'When Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) was ordered to declare Hajj obligatory, he pleaded with Allah that this is a deserted desert. There is no one here to listen to the announcement. How will my voice reach densely populated areas? Allah said, your duty is only to announce. It is my responsibility to reach the whole world. Hearing this, Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s.) then stood in the Maqam Ibrahim and announced. Allah exalts it.' In some narrations, he made the announcement while climbing the hill of Abu Qubays. It is said, "The call of Allah Ibrahim (A.S.) reached the spiritual world and those souls who responded to that call, Allah willed, will gather in the desert of Arafat in stages! Thus Makkah became the place of pilgrimage." As a field.

This Hajj established one of the most beautiful scenes of the gathering of the Muslim Ummah of the world. About the importance and significance of Hajj, Al-Qur'an also mentions, "In it there are outstanding signs like Maqam Ibrahim." And whoever enters into it, he is safe. And performing Hajj to this house is the duty of Allah upon the people, who have the ability to reach this far. And those who deny (they should remember) Allah is not the face of the people of the world.' Surah Ale Imran, verse 97. Again the same words echoed in the words of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. On the authority of Companion Abu Saeed (RA), the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) pointed at us and said, "Allah has made Hajj obligatory upon you."

So do Hajj. Muslim. The beloved Prophet also said about the virtues of Hajj, 'A pure and acceptable Hajj is better than the world and all the things of the world. There is no reward for it except Paradise.' Another narration says, 'Whoever performs Hajj for the sake of Allah's pleasure, does not engage in sexual intercourse or any kind of sin during Hajj, he (at the end of Hajj) will have a new-born child. will return home in an innocent state. In fact, Hajj is a special blessing given by Allah Rabbul Alamin.

Let's find out from the pages of history when and for what reasons the performance of Hajj was hindered. The heartbreaking incident of Karbala happened in 63 Hijri. Yazid took power by killing Imam Hussain (RA). From the beginning of his power, the wicked Yazid carried out brutal massacres in Mecca and Medina. Exactly ten years after this, in 73 Hijri i.e. 693 AD, Hajjaz bin Yusuf besieged Baitullah under the orders of Khalifa Abdul Malik bin Marwan.

Abdullah bin Zobair (RA) son of Hazrat Asma (RA), grandson of Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA)He hid himself. He was a righteous companion. He was brutally killed for speaking the truth in front of the tyrannical rulersWhen the wicked Marwan came to know that the Righteous Companion was hiding in the Kaaba Sharif, Tawaf and Umrah Hajj activities were temporarily suspended in the Kaaba to arrest him. Not only that, Marwan demolished a part of Kaaba Sharif only because that part was built by Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Zubair (R.A.). . They believed, 'Hajj is a sign of Jahili era. Hajj is like idolatry.

Therefore, Karamiya rulers became active to stop Hajj, which is obligatory in Islam. 317 Hijri 930 AD was the painful history of Muslims. An army led by Abu Taher Karamiya, ruler of Bahrain, attacked the Hajid's caravan. Killing many men and women and robbing them of their wealth. They created terror on the way to Makkah from Iraq and Syria. As a result, Hajj activities were stopped for a total of ten years from 317 Hijri to 327 Hijri.
Renowned Muslim scholar and historian Allama Imaduddin Ibn Kasir (RA)Al Bidayah writes in one Nehaya, in 357 Hijri, a disease called Mashiri spread in the form of an epidemic in Makkah. During this time, most of the Hajis died of that disease.

Some died of thirst on the way to Makkah. And many died on the way home after the Hajj. Imam Ibn Jawzi (RA)Al Muntaja wrote in the book, in 372 Hijri, a conflict arose between the Abbasid Caliphate and the Ubaid regime of Egypt. As a result, no one in Iraq could perform Hajj for a total of eight years from 372 to 380 Hijri. In 417 AH it was not possible for anyone from Egypt and the East to perform Hajj. In 421 AH other than Iraq could participate in Hajj. In 430 Hijri no one from Iraq, Khorasan, Sham and Egypt could perform Hajj. Because at this time the water of Dajla river and other big rivers turned into ice. As a result, the movement of people became impossible. In 492 Hijri, there was a great conflict between the rulers of the Muslim world. This made the road to Makkah unsafe. Such was the situation five years before Baitul Moqaddas in Palestine was taken over by the Christians. In 1038 A.H. 1629 A.D., there was a great flood in Mecca. As a result, the walls of the Kaaba collapsed.

Hajj and Umrah activities were suspended during the rebuilding of the Kaaba under the orders of Sultan Murad IV. In 1213 A.H., security became precarious due to the invasion of the French. As a result, Hajj was also closed that year. In 1830 AD, three-fourths of the pilgrims died of cholera. Apart from this, due to some other epidemics, from 1837 to 1892 AD, the arrival of Hajis in Mecca was stopped for a long timeFinally, it is a necessary duty for the person who has the ability to go there to perform the Hajj of that house for the sake of Allah. (Surah Al-Imran: Verse 97) Keeping the history of Hajj in mind and carrying out all the activities of Hajj in the light of the above issues, I will proceed to achieve the closeness of Allah. I will assist other disabled, weak Hajids in carrying out activities. May Allah bless us. Amen.
