Hajj registration deadline extended to 1 February

The government has extended the deadline by eight days for the registration of Hajj pilgrims as per the request of Hajj agencies and Hajj pilgrims.
The Religious Affairs Ministry on Wednesday (24 January) issued a notification extending the registration time for Hajj from 25 January to 1 February.
Extending the Hajj registration deadline two times earlier, the government closed the registration process on 18 January.
Hajj-2024 will be held on the 9th day of Zilhaj (16 June) depending on moon sighting.
A total of 1,27,198 pilgrims can perform Hajj this year. Of them, 10,198 can perform Hajj under government management, while the rest are under private management.
Till date, 3,802 prospective Hajj pilgrims registered under government management, while 49,371 registered under private management.
