If there are students in the school, there is no teacher. Although there are big buildings, tables and benches for students, there is no one to look after them. Even though there are appointed teachers, there are complaints against them for not coming to school on time.

On Wednesday (April 8), there is no teacher at 96 Kalagachi Government Primary School of Tala Upazila even at 10:58 in the morning. Although there is a teacher there, he is seen roaming around outside the school. No one could tell where the other teachers in the school were.

When the students were asked where their teachers had gone, several students said, "We don't know where the teachers have gone." But we came to the school and saw where all the teachers had gone. But could not tell us.

Reluctant to reveal their names, several parents said that the school is deteriorating day by day. Often the students come home and complain that the teachers do not take classes properly. Teachers spend time talking and watching videos using mobile phones in class.

Parents visit the school to verify the veracity of the students' complaints. He went there and saw that there was no teacher in the school. Students are playing without studying but the teachers are nowhere to be found. The parents demanded strict action against the teachers.

He called the principal of Kalagachi Government Primary School of Tala Upazila of Satkhira several times on his mobile phone to find out that there is no teacher in the school during school hours, but he did not receive it.

Tala Upazila Nirbahi Officer Afia Sharmin said, strict action will be taken against them after verifying the truth of the complaint.
