Govt jobs for Tk 112 exemplifies transparency: Minister Dulu

Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Asadul Habib Dulu, MP, has stated that securing government employment for only Tk 112 stands as a clear demonstration of administrative transparency under the current government.
Speaking at the orientation program for 188 newly joined employees of the Department of Disaster Management held on Thursday morning at the Disaster Management Bhaban in Mohakhali, Dhaka, the minister highlighted that the department has set an exemplary standard in establishing a corruption-free administration driven by accountability. He noted that the total cost per candidate from the initial application stage to joining for the 188 newly appointed staff members amounted to just Tk 112.
The minister further observed that Bangladesh is geographically situated in a region frequently battered by various natural disasters, noting that disaster management personnel serve as beacons of hope during times of crisis.
State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Engineer Iqbal Hossain attended the event as the special guest.
The ceremony also featured speeches by Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief Secretary Md. Saidur Rahman Khan, with Department of Disaster Management Director General Rezwanur Rahman presiding over the session.
