Gournadi former mayor Haris arrested in Dhaka

Harisur Rahman, former mayor of Gournadi Municipality and General Secretary of Upazila Awami League was arrested from Dhaka on Tuesday.
He is known to be close to former member of parliament Abul Hasanat Abdullah.
He was arrested from Rampura in the capital in the morning.
The matter was confirmed by the OC of Gournadi Model Police Station Mohammad Yunus Mia. There are several cases against him under various laws including the Explosives Act in Barishal.
