Gas supply suspended in Ctg for technical glitch at LNG terminal

Gas supply has been temporarily suspended in Chattogram since Friday morning due to a technical fault at the Maheshkhali LNG terminal and low pressure of gas is prevailing in other parts of the country due to winter.
The information was revealed through a press release of Petrobangla in the morning.
It said that work is underway with a view to speedy repairs. The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Petrobangla, and related companies are conducting round-the-clock supervision.
Domestic gas production and supply continues, it added.
