Friendship CC seal 2nd consecutive win in Dhaka Qualifying Cricket

Friendship Cricket Club of Feni continued their dominant form in the Dhaka Third Division Qualifying Tournament, securing a thrilling 12-run victory over Blaze Sports Club (BSC) on Wednesday morning.
With this second straight win, the Feni-based side guaranteed their berth in the second round of the tournament with one group-stage match to spare.
Opting to bat first after losing the toss at the Behara Tegharia Cricket Stadium, Friendship Cricket Club posted a competitive total of 146 runs for 7 in their allotted 20 overs. Amirul Karim Opi top-scored for the team with a crisp 39 off 33 balls, decorated with four boundaries. Emon added a valuable 25 off 21 balls, while Masud provided a dramatic late flourish, smashing an explosive 24 runs off just four deliveries.
Chasing a target of 147, BSC struggled to build momentum under disciplined bowling from the Friendship attack. They were eventually bowled out for 134 in 19.3 overs, handing Friendship a tense 12-run triumph.
Moinul was the pick of the Friendship bowlers, taking 3 wickets. Masud was named Man of the Match for his blistering cameo of 24 off 4 balls alongside a crucial wicket.
This marks a successful campaign debut for Friendship Cricket Club, who previously kicked off the tournament with a 2-wicket victory over Future Stars Cricket Club.
