The annual freshman reception and cultural program of Amanatchopha Badrunnecha Mahila College of Chandanish Upazila of Chittagong was held in the college premises with a colorful program on Saturday.

Alhaj Nazrul Islam Chowdhury, Member of Parliament of Chittagong Chandnaish Satkania (partial) 14 constituencies and current Minister of State for Labor and Employment, was supposed to be present as the chief guest in the program held under the chairmanship of Dr. Abu Mansoor Md. Nizamuddin Khaled, President of the College Management Committee.

As he was busy with oath and ministry duties, his written statement was read out and on his request Upazila Chairman Advocate Kamela Khanam Rupa was present as the chief guest. Municipal Mayor Mahbubul Alam Khoka was present as the inaugural function, Principal Shipra Shikder, Md. Abu Bakkar, Md. Mujibur Rahman Chowdhury, Dohazari Press Club President Nasir Uddin Bablu, ChandnaishPress Club President Abidur Rahman Babul, Chandnaish Press Club President Advocate Delwar Hossain and Chandnaish were the special guests.

Journalist Unity President of the forum Md. Kamruddin. Prof. Hurnahar Chowdhury, Prof. Tahmina Akhtar and Prof. Prabhakar Barua moderated the program and former Principal Abul Khair, Assistant Prof. Shawkat Hossain, Prof. Shantopad Barua, Assistant Prof. Takir Uddin, Prof. Sirajddaulla, Prof. Indra Chowdhury, Prof. Pushpen Chowdhury, Class XII spoke at the event student Jannatul Mawa and Class XI student Ikra Isman Saikat and others.

A wonderful cultural program was organized at the end of the event. TV and radio artists were also present on the occasion.
