Freedom Day celebrated in Gafargaon Today

On the occasion of the Independence Day celebration in Gafargaon, Mymensingh, the day was celebrated through various programs on Saturday (December 9) morning.
The program included hoisting of national flag, rally, discussion meeting, doa mahfil, paying tribute to Bangabandhu's portrait.
Gafargaon upazila administration organized the rally at 11 in the morning and paid tribute to the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of the freedom fighter complex after the round of the city. Later a discussion meeting was held in the hall on the third floor of the complex.
Assistant Commissioner (Lands) Fatema Jannat, Gafargaon Thana Officer-in-Charge Farooq Ahmed, Gafargaon Press Club General Secretary Nazmul Haque Biplab, Vir Muktijodha Mofiz Ahmed, Salim Ullah Mostafa, Altaf Hossain spoke in the discussion meeting held under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer and Muktijoddha Sangsad Administrator Md Abidur Rahman. Rana, Nizam Uddin etc. The meeting was moderated by the brave freedom fighter Nasir Uddin Monir.
