Free helmets distribution on Road Safety Day in Tangail

Tangail Roads Department distributed free helmets on the occasion of Road Safety Day in Tangail with the slogan 'Quality helmets and safe speed, will reduce loss of life and property'.
On this occasion.,more than a hundred helmets were distributed to motorcycle riders without helmets in front of the Tangail Road and Highways Department office on Mymensingh Road in Tangail on Wednesday morning.
Roads Department Executive Engineer Cynthia Azmiri Khan, Sub-Divisional Engineer Zahidul Islam, Tangail Traffic Department TI Delwar Hossain and others were present at the time.
Cynthia Azmiri Khan, Executive Engineer of the Roads Department, said, "Helmets are distributed among drivers to increase awareness about road safety, develop a culture of law-abiding behavior, and instill a sense of responsibility and safety awareness among citizens. A helmet is not just a thing to be used in accordance with the law, it is a symbol of life safety. All motorcyclists are urged to use helmets and obey traffic laws while riding on the road."
