Four youths held with foreign pistols, bullets in Lalmonirhat

Lalmonirhat Sadar Police arrested four youths with foreign pistols and 3 rounds of bullets in Lalmonirhat.
Police arrested the police from Tikiki (Sakwar Bazar) area of Kulaghat Union in Lalmonirhat Sadar upazila on Sunday.
Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station OC Mohammad Nurunabi told reporters at around 9 pm on Monday.
The OC said the youth, Jewel, Liton and Aslam, were arrested in a microbus in the area. Later, a foreign pistol and 3 rounds of ammunition were recovered from Jewel and a bottle of Phensidyl from a sack in the vehicle.
Later, they could not show any valid documents on foreign weapons and bullets. They were later arrested for the crime of keeping illegal weapons and drugs. At the time, he said that journalists were late to protect the privacy and need some more information in the investigation. He also confirmed that separate cases have been filed under the weapons and drug laws in the name of the arrested.
