Four drug dealers held with large haul of narcotics in Ashulia

Four professional drug dealers were arrested in separate raids conducted by the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) in Ashulia, with a large quantity of illegal drugs recovered from their possession on Thursday.
According to a press release issued on Thursday, the operation was led by Sub-Inspector (SI) Md. Zakir Hossain of the Dhaka District Department of Narcotics Control's Circle-B.
During the raids, DNC officials seized 3,800 yaba tablets, 100 grams of heroin, five CCTV cameras used in drug trafficking activities, two mobile phones, and Tk 25,910 in cash believed to be proceeds from drug sales.
The suspects were arrested from Mondol Colony in Dendabor Uttarpara under Dhamsona Union and from in front of Jewel Rana Store near Eden Garden in Sinduria under Pathalia Union of Ashulia.
The arrested individuals were identified as Towha Ahmed, 24, Aminul Islam, 23, Sagar Hossain Babu, 29, and Sumona, 29.
After completing the necessary legal procedures, the detainees were handed over to Ashulia Police Station for further action.
