Thakurgaon celebrated the 14th anniversary of the popular television channel Mohana Television in a festive atmosphere.

Mohana Television came on air 13 years ago with a grand program under the slogan 'Bangla's reflection'. The channel entered its 14th year after completing thirteen years.

On the occasion of the 14th year of Mohana Television, a colorful rally took place from the Thakurgaon Press Club premises on Saturday noon.

The rally ends at the eastern venue after circling the city's main thoroughfare. Later, a cake cutting and discussion session was organized by Mohana Television Viewers Forum Thakurgaon in the multimedia hall of the press club.

Chairman of Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila Parishad and President of Sadar Upazila A'League Adv. Arunanshu Dutta Tito, District A.League Organizing Secretary Santosh Kumar Agarwala, Upazila A.League Vice President Ashok Kumar Das, Thakurgaon Press Club General Secretary Lutfar Rahman Mithu, Joint General Secretary Feroze Amin Sarkar, Television Journalists Association General Secretary Rafiqul Islam Rohan, Online President of Journalist Association and Desh TV representative Shakeel Ahmed, member of press club lecturer Golam Sarwar Samrat, district representative of DBC News Navin Hasan, Ranishankoil upazila representative of Mohana Television Farooq Ahmed Sarkar and others. Speakers in the discussion meeting said that the channel has been providing objective news for 13 years keeping the slogan of Bengali image in front. At the same time, they wished for the future prosperity of the channel.
