Forgery proved : HSC results of former Ctg Education Board Controller's son cancelled
Chattogram City Correspondent
The Chattogram Education Board has annulled the HSC results of Narayan Chandra Nath’s son, a former Secretary and Controller of Examinations at the board.
This decision was made during a meeting of the board’s Disciplinary Committee on Thursday presided over by Board Chairman Professor Rezaul Karim.
The action was taken based on directives from the Ministry of Education. On September 15, the ministry’s investigation confirmed allegations of result manipulation, prompting swift instructions to the Chattogram Board to take necessary measures.
The Board Chairman stated that after the allegations were proven, the HSC results were annulled following a review of the academic certificate, transcript, and verified copies of Narayan Chandra Nath’s son. Additionally, it was decided to file a criminal case regarding the forgery incident.
It is noted that the controversy began after his son’s results in the 2023 HSC exams (Science Division) were questioned. Following allegations, the Ministry of Education formed an investigative committee, leading to these punitive measures based on confirmed forgery.
