Fire in govt warehouse in Debiganj

A fire has occurred in a government warehouse in Debiganj of Panchagarh. On Tuesday at 9:30 p.m..
A fire broke out in the warehouse used for storing fertilizer and seeds of incentive agricultural office of Upazila Parishad. According to fire service and local sources, fertilizers and seeds of upazila agriculture office incentives were temporarily kept in an old warehouse of Debiganj BRDB office.
On Tuesday, season incentive groundnut seeds and fertilizers were distributed among the farmers. At around 9:30 pm, the Ansar member in charge of security saw smoke in the warehouse and called the fire service.
Later, two units of Debiganj Fire Service were able to put out the fire with an effort of about an hour. It is initially believed that one of the farmers who came to collect the seeds of Prondana may have inadvertently thrown away.
