Fire breaks out on oil tanker 'Banglar Jyoti' at Ctg port

A fire broke out on the Bangladesh-flagged crude oil tanker "Banglar Jyoti" while it was anchored at Dolphin Jetty No. 7 of Chattogram Port on Monday morning, according to a senior official from the Chittagong Port Authority (CPA).
The fire started at 11:00am on the tanker owned by Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC).
Fire service officials could not immediately determine the cause of the fire.
Shakila Farzana, Chattogram Metropolitan Police's Deputy Commissioner of the Port Zone, informed that the fire has now been brought under control.
She also mentioned that specific information regarding casualties has not yet been received.
