Fire at dyeing factory in Tongi

A fire broke out in the warehouse of a dyeing factory at Tongi in Gazipur on Sunday.
Five fire service units are working to control the fire.
The fire broke out at the Hossain Dyeing and Printing Mills Limited factory in Bisik Pagar area of Tongir at around 1 pm on Sunday, said Senior Officer of Tongi Fire Service, Iqbal Hasan.
He said that cotton and yarn produced by the factory were stored in a warehouse inside the factory. Three units of Tongi Fire Service started working to control the fire on the news of the fire.
Later, two more units were added from Uttara. Four workers were injured while fighting the fire.
They were rescued and sent to Shahid Ahsan Ullah Master General Hospital for treatment.
