Financial assistance to family of young man killed in lightning in Rupsha

A poor daily wage worker named Ariful Islam (28) was killed by lightning while climbing a tree to install a microphone in Aichgati Union of Rupsha Upazila on Monday afternoon.
The deceased young man was the only soon of Saiful Islam of Jabusa village of Naihati Union and the earning member of the family. U.N.O Akash Kumar Kundu visited the house of the deceased Ariful Islam on April 29 morning and meet his family members and expressed his condolences.
At that time, he provided Tk 25,000 in cash as assistance to the family of the deceased Ariful Islam on behalf of the upazila administration. Rupsa Upazila Project Implementation Officer Sheikh Borhan Uddin, Noihati Union Parishad (Acting) Chairman Iliachur Rahman and local dignitaries were present during the assistance.
