Final match of eight-team football tournament held in Sapahar

The thrilling final match of the eight-team football tournament was held in a festive atmosphere at Sapahar in Naogaon.
On Friday at 3:30 pm, at the Sapahar Pilot High School field, the final was organized by the Sapahar Upazila Sports Academy where Porsha Football XI and Niamatpur Football XI faced each other.
The final match was declared open by the inaugurator of the event, Sapahar Upazila BNP President Alhaj Rafiqul Islam Chowdhury (Benu). The event was presided over by the founder chairman of Sapahar Upazila Sports Academy, Md. Abu Sayed Chowdhury (Onik).
Present on the occasion were Sapahar Upazila BNP Senior Vice-President Abdur Rahim, Organizational Secretary Abdullah Ansari, Office Secretary Robiul Islam Chowdhury (Robi), District Chhatra Dal leader Abu Hanif, Member-Secretary of Sapahar Sports Academy Al Amin Chowdhury along with other guests.
There was a huge crowd of spectators and a festive environment around the final. Porsha Football XI achieved the glory of becoming champions by defeating Niamatpur Football XI 2–0 in the stipulated time.
After the match, the guests handed over prizes to the champion and runners-up team players. Centering this festive tournament, there was great joy and enthusiasm among the local sports lovers.
