FF Abu Bakar Siddique dies in Baraigram

Abu Bakar Siddique (72), a heroic freedom fighter and Chairman of Gopalpur Union Parishad in Baraigram, Natore, passed away on Sunday at 6:45 AM while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Dhaka due to respiratory complications. Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un.
At the time of his passing, he left behind three sons, two daughters, and numerous well-wishers. He was elected Chairman of Gopalpur Union Parishad a total of six times.
Following a state honor guard and funeral prayers at Rajapur Degree College field, he was laid to rest in the family graveyard at Purnakolash in the evening.
