Farooque seeks blessings to countrymen in tearful voice

Renowned actor and lawmaker from Dhaka-17 constituency Akbar Hossain Pathan, popularly known as Farooque, currently receiving treatment in Singapore, seeking blessings to countrymen.
Currently, he has been receiving treatment for one year at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in the country.
On his birthday (August 18), he sent a video message to a TV channel where he was seeking prayers to countrymen.
“I am conveying heartiest greetings to the countrymen on my birthday and requesting all for not paying heed rumours about me. I am well now for the sake of almighty. I hope I will return home very soon,” he said.
Farooque has been receiving treatment at Mount Elizabeth hospital since March 4, 2021. Currently, his health condition is much better.
He said with tearful voice that “Farooque will never forget the love of countrymen. I want prayers to all people of the country for returning home as early as possible. He also chanted ‘Joy Bangla Joy Bangabandhu’ slogan and expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina”
