
Farmers’ Partner Congress held in Mithamain

A ‘Farmers’ Partner Congress’ was held in Mithamain, Kishoreganj with the theme ‘Agriculture is Prosperity,’ organized by the Partner Free School of the Department of Agriculture.
The congress took place on Wednesday noon in the Upazila Parishad auditorium, chaired by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Ruhul Amin Sharif.
The event was organized by the Mithamain Upazila Agriculture Department under the ‘Program on Agricultural and Rural Transformation for Nutrition, Entrepreneurship, and Resilience in Bangladesh (PARTNER)’ project of the Department of Agriculture.
Speakers at the congress, including Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Obaydul Islam Khan Apu, Upazila Education Officer Md. Sadekur Rahman, and Agricultural Extension Officer Mahbubul Alam, discussed the use of modern agricultural equipment, modern cultivation techniques, commercial agriculture, and increasing agricultural production through the Partner Free School.
The event was attended by over a hundred farmers from various unions of the upazila, upazila administration officials, and people from different professions.
