Expectations from the new Government

Expectations from the new Government

SYED FARUK HOSSAIN

Bangladesh Awami League under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the fourth time in a row, as a result of the overwhelming public opinion, has created an unprecedented opportunity to continue the development capacity of the government at an important juncture.

This party formed the government and gave a lot to the country in the last ten years, which was beyond the expectations of many. What everyone wants now is the successful implementation of the promises made in the manifesto.

Under the strong leadership of Sheikh Hasina, there has been a skyrocketing economic development along with various social indicators due to which Bangladesh is now a developing country, the 41st economy in the world and the 25th largest economy in 2032. Sheikh Hasina is now a world leader and mother of humanity. Bangladesh's status in the world has increased manifold.

The so-called bottomless basket is now the role model of development. The people of Bangladesh have benefited from these development activities, the per capita income has increased and people are living comfortably. Manga is not suffering, not starving. But there is a long way to go. People are hoping.

The development of the last ten years has made people optimistic. The reason for optimism is Sheikh Hasina's visionary leadership. So, he has made a place in the hearts of the people of Bangladesh. Now it is necessary to bring our country under a stronger economic framework with strategic leadership. A huge victory has been achieved in the 11th National Assembly elections after going through the crooked path of many conspiracies.

Through this, Sheikh Hasina established herself as one of the greatest statesmen in world history. At the same time, he increased the expectations of the countrymen manifold. The reason why people expect more from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is because she gives to people again and again, is still giving and has the ability to give, people want from her.

Anyone who has not given, cannot give, has no ability to give, has no desire and compassion to give, no one wants him. Democracy will be strong only when it is established on a constitutional basis, elected representatives of the people will run the state. From the village to the city, development is everywhere today. The work of our people has increased. Capacity increased.

People are getting uninterrupted electricity. Factories, business and trade are going on in full swing. Women are running fast in the circle of production. Investment increased. The expansion of education is amazing. On the day of polling, many conscious citizens attended the polling station and exercised their right to vote.

Therefore, the demand of the common people from the new government is a little high. The new government should aim to maintain the progress made in the past years and implement the things mentioned in the manifesto in the next five years.

The election manifesto of the Awami League, which has been in power for the last ten years, has promised to deliver civic benefits to every village, transform the youth into skilled manpower, ensure employment and further advance Bangladesh in the progress of prosperity.

In fact, the new generation has given unwavering support to the current Awami League government, which thinks about the welfare of the people, takes the country forward on the path of development, prioritizes the national interest over its own interests to establish the country as a dignified one on the world map, thinking about the future of the young generation.

Takes concrete steps and brings women out of the trap of suffering and into the mainstream of development. They have knowingly chosen those who run the state with a firm commitment to free the country from poverty, fight against violence with unwavering conviction, develop agriculture and industry to save the countrymen from poverty and poverty, and strive to achieve the welfare of the citizens with multi-faceted projects.

After all, one hundred years later, Bangladesh dreams and dreams. People have a lot of expectations from the present government because of the absolute victory in the elections.

Leader Sheikh Hasina will not want people's hopes to be broken. Moreover, the responsibility of building Bangabandhu's Golden Bangla fell on him. Take the responsibility of the current government to raise economic growth to double digits, increase per capita income, ensure supply of nutritious food for all people, deliver the benefits of development to every home, reduce economic disparity, eliminate poverty, create massive employment, strictly control commodity prices, banking sector. Eradication of chaos, Reorganization of education system with the aim of creating human resources, Creation of coordination between primary, secondary and higher education, Improvement of quality of education and research, Providing facilities of information technology at home, Ending social anarchy, Prevention of drugs and corruption, Ensuring safety of citizens, Establishing good governance, Villages Reducing the rate of rural-to-urban migration by creating opportunities for economic activities, modernizing agriculture, creating urban amenities in villages, providing health care and ensuring electricity supply throughout the country, increasing domestic and foreign investment, increasing export income by expanding the export sector and markets, industrial sector Expansion, Successful completion of mega projects on time, creation of modern railway services across the country, solving the Rohingya problem, and many other activities should be carried out with more success and dynamism. The unprecedented development activities of the past have made countrymen (especially city dwellers) dreamier. After the elections, they are dreaming that the government of their choice will achieve the desired development goals of Bangladesh effortlessly in the coming years.

No one can stop the progress of the country. A war-torn Bangladesh was left by the father of the nation as a less developed country. The technological development started by Bangabandhu was completed by the hands of his privileged daughter Sheikh Hasina. He announced the construction of 'Digital Bangladesh' in the election manifesto of Bangladesh Awami League on December 12, 2008. Bangladesh today is the wonder of the world in the spread of modern information technology. Digital Bangladesh has been developed under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and under the supervision of ICT advisor Sajib Wazed Joy. The initial start of the implementation of 'Digital Bangladesh' of the present time was by his hands. Now the outline of Smart Bangladesh started with the hands of Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The young generation is now dreaming of building 'Smart Bangladesh'. Bangladesh needs to prosper economically by ensuring maximum use of digital technologies including government intelligence, internet, virtual reality, augmented reality, robotics and big-data. Digital Bangladesh is now a reality. Formulating a framework plan of how Bangladesh will develop in the period from 21 to 41 will bring one of the blessings to the people. On the other hand, not only in 2041, but also in 2100, the delta plan should be undertaken so that the Bengali delta is protected from the impact of climate, the country is developed, and the people of the country can live 'beautifully, healthily and smartly'.

In the future, more employment will be created through the fourth industrial revolution. As a result of the fourth industrial revolution, the per capita income of the people of Bangladesh will increase 10-20 times than the current one. Everyone must participate in this inexorable progress of the future. Despite being a developing country of small size, Bangladesh is already moving forward in various sectors including intensive integrated management of natural disasters and role in poverty alleviation around the world and the government should look to ensure that this trend continues. Along with mega development projects, the new government should ensure that the common people are not deprived of their basic needs. The price of all commodities which are daily necessities of people like gas, fertilizer, oil, agricultural and other commodities and daily commodities should always be kept within the reach of common people.

The development should not only be centered in the city, but the touch of development should reach the doorstep of the rural people. Bangladesh should be put on the path of rapid development through holistic economic growth, structural transformation and significant social progress by adopting a more progressive development strategy. We hope that the new government will build a beautiful, enlightened and dignified Bangladesh that will stand tall in the world. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who despite losing everything, is leading the country to the highest peak of success by giving everything to all the people. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the worthy successor of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the spirit daughter of democracy, the shaper of modern and developed Bangladesh, is working relentlessly for the nation. Sheikh Hasina will live among us with a long life of health - this is the hope of all of us.
