Ex-MP Nadwi arrested in Dhaka

Abu Reza Mohammad Nezamuddin Nadwi, a former lawmaker from the Chattogram-15 constituency, has been arrested in Dhaka’s Uttara area.
A team of the Detective Branch of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police apprehended Nadwi, who was in hiding, on Sunday night, confirmed DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) Md Talebur Rahman.
Awami League-nominated candidate Nadwi was defeated by independent candidate MA Motaleb in the 12th parliamentary election held on 7 January this year.
