Emotional discussion, prayer at Gaibandha District Bar on Khaleda Zia’s 82nd birthday

An discussion meeting and prayer session were held at the Gaibandha District Bar Auditorium to mark the 82nd birthday of former three-time Prime Minister of Bangladesh and BNP Chairperson, Begum Khaleda Zia, widely known as the “Uncompromising Leader.”
The event was organized by the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum, Gaibandha District Unit.
Speakers highlighted various aspects of Begum Khaleda Zia’s long political struggle, her contribution to the restoration of democracy, and her sacrifices for the welfare of the country and its people. They described her as a unique symbol of Bangladesh’s democratic movement who earned a special place in the hearts of the people through her steadfast commitment to protecting citizens’ rights despite numerous challenges.
Among those who addressed the gathering were Public Prosecutor of Gaibandha District Judge Court Adv Md. Mizanur Rahman Mizan, Freedom Fighter Advocate Abdul Majid, Convener of the District Bar Sekandar Azam Anam, Adv Jahangir, Advocate Sharifuzzaman Babul, Advocate Rafiqul Islam Bulu, Adv Jahangir Alam Jinnah, Monjur Morshed, and other prominent lawyers and leaders of the District Bar.
Following the discussion, a special prayer and munajat were offered seeking eternal peace and forgiveness for Begum Khaleda Zia and Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman. More than a hundred lawyers of the Gaibandha District Bar attended the prayer.
