Elite Group donates Tk 2 cr to help DU students

Elite Group has expressed interest in forming an endowment fund of Tk 2 crore to help indigent students of Dhaka University. Ramjul Siraj, Managing Director of Elite Group of Companies and Aqua Paints, and Sajedur Siraj, Deputy Managing Director, met with Dhaka University Treasurer Prof Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury at his office on Thursday and expressed interest in forming an endowment fund.
At that time, Professor Dr. Saifur Rashid, Department of Anthropology, Dhaka University, and prominent banker Mamun Rashid were present.
Treasurer Prof Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury expressed his sincere gratitude to the Managing Director and Deputy Managing Director of Elite Group of Companies and Aqua Paints for coming forward to help the indigent students of Dhaka University.
