Eid reunion of Jamaat held in Hatiya

An Eid reunion was organized by the Hatiya Pourashava Jamaat-e-Islami in Noakhali on Sunday afternoon at the Char Kailash Hadiya Madrasa hall.
Presided over by Hatiya Pourashava Jamaat’s Amir Maulana Tawfiqul Islam, the chief guest was Upazila Jamaat’s Amir Maulana Borhanul Islam.
Upazila Jamaat’s Naib-e-Amir Maulana Idris, Jamaat-e-Islami’s nominated parliamentary candidate for Noakhali-6 Hatiya, Shah Mohammad Mahfuzul Haque, and former central leader of Chhatra Shibir, Sabbir Ahmed Tafsir spoke. About 500 workers and supporters from various wards of Hatiya Pourashava were present.
At the start of the event, speakers discussed organizational matters. During the event, the chief guest, Upazila Jamaat’s Amir Maulana Borhanul Islam, announced the party’s nominated candidate for the upcoming pourashava election. He named Sabbir Ahmed Tafsir, former office secretary of Chhatra Shibir at Rajshahi University, as the candidate.
