DUTA's memo to President-PM : Cancellation of inclusion of public university teachers in universal pension scheme demanded

The Dhaka University Teachers Association ( DUTA) has submitted a memorandum to the President, Prime Minister and Education Minister demanding cancellation of the inclusion of public university teachers in the universal pension guarantee scheme.
On Monday, the president of the organization, Professor Dr. Md. Nizamul Haque Bhuiyan and General Secretary Professor Dr Zeenat Huda informed this through a press release.
Accordiing to press release, a general meeting of the Dhaka University Teachers Association was held last Sunday. In the meeting, it was decided to send a memorandum to the President, Prime Minister and Education Minister demanding cancellation of the inclusion of public university teachers in the universal pension guarantee scheme.
It was further decided in the meeting that a human chain program will be held on May 26 at 11:30 a.m. at the foot of Aparajeya Bangla of Dhaka University. If the inclusion of public university teachers in the pension scheme is not canceled within this period, a strict programme will be announced from that human chain including work stoppage.
