DU VC visits injured students

Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan visited Bangladesh Specialized Hospital on Friday to see Dhaka University Mass Communication and Journalism Department student Rupaiya Shrestha Tanchanga and a student of Government Titumir College who were injured in the attack on tribal students and the public in Motijheel on January 15.
During this time, he spoke to the injured students, their family members and doctors and inquired about the physical condition of the students undergoing treatment. He wished them a speedy recovery. At this time, he expressed deep condolences to the family members of the injured students and assured that necessary measures would be taken for the students to participate in the upcoming exams.
Dhaka University Proctor Associate Prof Saifuddin Ahmed, Associate Prof of Mass Communication and Journalism Department Dr. Mohammad Saiful Alam Chowdhury and family members of the injured students were present at the time.
It is mentionable that Dhaka University Proctor Associate Prof Saifuddin Ahmed and assistant proctors visited the hospital on the night of January 16 and inquired about the physical condition of the injured students.
