DU VC Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan visits Jagannath Hall pujamandap

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan visited the pujamandap of Jagannath Hall on the occasion of Sharidiya Durgotsava on Monday evening.
Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr. Mamun Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) Prof. Dr. Saima Haque Bidisha, Treasurer Prof. Dr. Mohammad Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Proctor Associate Professor Saifuddin Ahmad, Jagannath Hall Public Puja Celebration Committee President and Hall Principal Debashish Pal, Hall resident faculty members and proctorial team members were present.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Khan congratulated the people of Sanatan religion on Durga Puja. He wished everyone happiness, peace and well-being and said that Durgotsava is the biggest religious festival of the Hindu community. He hoped that this festival would strengthen the bond of harmony and amity among all irrespective of caste and religion.
